The tools made it to Slidell but we haven't seen Jim Cantori. Pictures show some of the highlights: Earnheart Drive, Gulf coast is still a mess, another oil derrick about to get launched, and the shrimp boats are back in business. Gas is $2.12!

Pre New Orleans Thoughts and Test of My Blogging
Hello, All Readers -
I'm headed with the UUAC group to New Orleans on Nov 1. We're hoping to really make a difference in the life of one woman who will hopefully be back in her home soon because of work others have done before us and what we'll accomplish in the week we're there.
I'm testing my ability to blog on this site. Come and read about and share in our experiences!
Many blessings,
Maureen

NOLA 4
Tuesday morning and raring to go! I am working the bugs out of getting a new posting on the blog. I made an earlier comment.
Sally and Roger are packing the van today and heading southwest tomorrow morning. The rest of us are on the same flight on Sat AM, with an ETA of 10:30 in NOLA. We will be carrying you all with us in our hearts.
A few of us have signed up to keep you updated. Keep checking the blog!
